For someone who is new to the world of finance is the best book I’ve found that is easy to read and investment data. I like the presentation of sections and chapters are the most basic concepts followed by more advanced in the next chapter. Rating: 5 / 5

The book is divided into many places and has many missing pages. It was impossible to use the book. I must say it is misleading to sell a book. Rating: 1 / 5

“Essentials of Investments Bodie” Sevres as useful, thorough introduction to investments. This book is inspired by the greatest degree Bodie’s “investment”, leaving only portions of equilibrium in capital markets and skimp on some of the finer mathematical details in other sections. You prefer this book if you are a beginner in the field, and you will not be disappointed by what you learn. The book is easy reading and attractive if you are a layman, and it is certainly possible, even if you have a limited number of general education fund. Overall, a great introduction to the field of investment. Recommended. Rating: 5 / 5

I found the frequent inconsistency confusing terminology. There are concept checks, while useful necessary because the authors have trouble explaining key concepts. It is not intended to be rancorous, the authors could have done much reading Strunk and White book. The author has the need to write clearly and directly. Insufficient explanation of key concepts. I looked for this book on Amazon for the 8th time, saw the link to light in the 8th edition edition and bought it, not only paid me $ 4 more than it was previously, but received an e-book that is not public. The 8th edition was published a critical part of new ones to reflect the financial collapse of 2008 and a new chapter on funds cobertura.Amazon gone wrong! Rating: 1 / 5
